Oh, how I wanted to love it. Jan 28, 2010 I love OPI polish, and was excited to try the product in pen form. The good news is the colors are beautiful, and seem to be almost identical to the shade of the polish you can see at the bottom of the tube. (NOT the color of the packaging)
Now for the bad news -
The brush is truly horrific. Bushy and flimsy it smears and streaks the polish.
The formula is not at all durable. I painted my nails at night, went to class the next morning, and by noon the color was very obviously faded and wearing away. (Not really chipping, but it looked like a week-old manicure.)
The polish will sometimes come spurting out as you paint (even without pumping)but other times, it all stays at the base of the brush, making it impossible to get to the nail without smudging it all over the place.
You should be prepared to finish each nail in 1.2 nanoseconds...unless you want it to start drying, at which point, the part you did manage to get painted will now smear and clump every time the brush gets near it.
I have tried several colors, and all need at least two coats - which would be fine if the second coat didn't somehow "re liquify" the first coat, causing smearing, cursing, and the whole process to begin again.
I so wanted to love this product. Mine are going in the trash, though...it just isn't worth the amount of trouble for nails that are going to have to be repainted every day.
NOT fast-drying!! Sep 05, 2009 I was really excited to try this product, especially since I'm a teacher and my French manicures usually start to chip within a few days. However, this stuff is gooey going on (I tried two tubes in case the first was defective) and DOES NOT DRY QUICKLY!! In fact, the next day it still felt tacky and was pushed around on my nails when it came in contact with anything. The idea behind this product is great, but I think the formula needs some re-tooling. For now, I'd just as soon use a bottle of regular polish for my touch-ups.

save your money Jun 18, 2009 Save your money! Buy a bottle of fast dry instead. This goes on THIN and streaky, takes forever to dry, as in over an hour. Very messey to use.
Nicole by OPI Nic's Sticks Feb 22, 2009 Love it.Very easy to use.I think every girl need this and I love the color also(call my cell).5 star
A sticky mess Jan 11, 2009 Bought this item at Walmart and the first time I opened it the paint squirted out on my pants. The tip that is supposed to stay on the applicator was stuck to the lid and the paint was every where. The brush was then really long because the cone shaped tip was not there to hold it.
It was like putting polish on with a floppy barbque brush. When we tried to put the cone back on it mangled the brush and it was impossible to put the lid on. It ended up in the trash after only painting one hand.
$6 wasted, one pair of pants ruined.
