Perfect Casual Wear Polish Jun 03, 2008
If you're somewhat lazy, like me, this is the perfect nail polish for you. It goes on easily (w/out streaks) and dries quickly. They're easy to store and use, and they come in the funnest colors! I've thrown out all my other "casual wear" nail polishes. Only downfalls: (1) You'll need at least 2 coats to get a finished look. (2) You'll need a top coat to keep away wears and chips that occur after only a day or two.

OPI didn't quite NAIL it. . . Jul 12, 2008

This is the type of product that would appeal to any Glam-Girl on the Go! Nail polish in a portable tube that brushes on easily and dries quickly. I have to admit, I bought three tubes of OPI's Nic's Sticks without ever having tried them. I bought the quick and easy glam on the go schpeel, but OPI didn't quite nail it.
The colors are true to what is shown on the stick. Text Me, the color on this Amazon page, is a purply-mauve color. Lavender with a hint of blue.
The nail polish is easy to apply.
The polish dries faster than you can surf from Amazon to Sephora.
With OPI's clever package design, Glam Moms need not worry that their troublesome toddlers will spill nail polish on their rugs, furniture, cabinets, or hardwood floors!
The nail polish goes on smooth the first coat, but chunky the second.
Chips, chips, and more chips. A day after painting my nails with Nic's Sticks, I had to remove it and start again. I will do a lot to maintain my glam status, but honestly, who has the time to paint their nails everyday?

depends on the color from WOW to UGH Aug 06, 2008
Great seller-quick shipping, all for $1, reasonable price...
As for application, it needs a little work but is well worth the money for sure but most bottle polishes have similar problems - so the ease of use, portability, quick drying and accuracy are pretty decent. However, the quality of the item depends on the color, and you have to spend the $7 to find out if it applies well and matches the color it should. I put each color on 1-3 nails so I could compare the look and decide what I liked before painting all my nails one color - never tried it before but I'm glad I did....Here's the bottom line on each of the colors I tried:
*WOW "Expression of love" is bright pink, and if you pump enough polish (it took one nail and I had the hang of it) you get the final color and it's even in one coat. I put on another coat while it was still a bit sticky (1 minute or so) and it painted perfect on the second coat also.
* WOW "Feeling Girly" is a pale pinkish beige-very light color but beautiful and natural and one coat is enough but the second goes on just as smooth.
*WOW WOW WOW "Carpool mama" I don't ever wear red polish, I bought this one for my mother who always wears red but I tried it out and it is the best of them all. Perfect red-not too bright, not too dark, just fabulous. Glossy, smooth, one coat beauty. Now I MUST get another one so I have it for myself-never thought I'd ever wear red!!!!
*UGH "Date night" - also for my mother but I'll probably just throw it away.First, it goes on smooth but because it's so terribly metallic and glittery looking, it looks like it has tiny bubbles in it. It doesn't actually have bubbles - it feels smooth but it's dull and looks horrible. The description, as well as the visual of the color in the tube, and the colors on the web sites where I've seen it are very misleading and don't tell you it's metallic-it looks like "foil" and is just hideous - at least it's hideous on me.
* UGH UGH "Are we there yet?" is TERRIBLE!!!!The color on the tube is great and about 4 coats later you get the color if you are careful and annoyingly patient. It is very thin and uneven on the first,2nd, and 3rd coats. The second coat has to go on after COMPLETELY drying the first or it pulls up the first coat and leaves streaks and lumps. Same for every coat after that. I waited 15 minutes and it wasn't long enough, it still pulled up my polish right up the middle of my nail.
*UGH "Top it off" Top Coat - another disappointment - the amount of pumping required to get enough top coat to cover a painted nail is outrageous. 10 pumps for the 1st nail and then 8 for each additional nail. If you don't pump until it's "bubbling" out like glue then it RUINS your long dried, nicely polished nails. Most colors you just pump until the brush is the color of the polish but you need ALOT of flowing top coat for it to actually go on. Too thick maybe? It does improve the look of "Date night" a little bit but it picks up the color of my "carpool mama" over an hour after it had dried and transferred it to my lighter nails. Carpool mama was completely DRY-I don't get it.
If you get the right colors and learn to use a somewhat thicker brush than usual, it's WELL WORTH IT to have polish you can throw in your purse, drop in the floor, never drip a bit, etc. but watch out for some of them - the variation in quality is really shocking. Perhaps if I try more colors, I'll add them to this review...If you like red-or even if you don't, try Carpool Mama!!!

Great nail polish May 16, 2008
This is the first nail polish that I actually enjoy applying. It dries really quickly.
I would have given 5 stars if you could apply more than 1 coat, if you try you remove the one underneath.
Overall is the best as in practical, fast, dry fast, and you can carry in your purse and apply anywhere

Oh, how I wanted to love it. Jan 28, 2010
By April Reis
I love OPI polish, and was excited to try the product in pen form. The good news is the colors are beautiful, and seem to be almost identical to the shade of the polish you can see at the bottom of the tube. (NOT the color of the packaging)
Now for the bad news -
The brush is truly horrific. Bushy and flimsy it smears and streaks the polish.
The formula is not at all durable. I painted my nails at night, went to class the next morning, and by noon the color was very obviously faded and wearing away. (Not really chipping, but it looked like a week-old manicure.)
The polish will sometimes come spurting out as you paint (even without pumping)but other times, it all stays at the base of the brush, making it impossible to get to the nail without smudging it all over the place.
You should be prepared to finish each nail in 1.2 nanoseconds...unless you want it to start drying, at which point, the part you did manage to get painted will now smear and clump every time the brush gets near it.
I have tried several colors, and all need at least two coats - which would be fine if the second coat didn't somehow "re liquify" the first coat, causing smearing, cursing, and the whole process to begin again.
I so wanted to love this product. Mine are going in the trash, though...it just isn't worth the amount of trouble for nails that are going to have to be repainted every day.
