Bodacious color, wonder product Apr 29, 2011
By Judy K. Rock Royalty is a dark dark purple. In low light it looks almost black, then a bit of light--or full sun--& it's a beautiful, deep, perfect sort of baaaad purple. Believe the hype about Shellac. As easy as putting on nail polish. The color options are super. The removal process is simple & doesn't hurt your nails. It wears like iron. Start with something easy--I started with this one, and was royally happy with it right off. I'm allergic to acrylics & a lot of gels, so Shellac is a chance for me to feel polished & coifed again. Love it! ,

Stunning color May 19, 2011
By A of the M's I am 57 years old and no, this shellac is not too dark for someone my age! It is a beautiful color for any season of the year. The compliments have rolled in. Love it.
Note: If you are looking for a regular nail polish, be adviced that shellac and the gel polishes DO NOT go on your nails like the regular ones. I am saying this so you will not order the wrong item. If you are looking for a shellac color, by all means, try this one!

Amazing color with great staying power! Aug 21, 2011
By Reviews on Amazon As I have stated with another review for Shellac I think this is worth pointing out to potential buyers that this is a UV polish - it requires curing via a UV light and is used with Shellac UV base and top coats!
Having purchased a bunch of pinks and reds, I decided on something a bit different and this certainly fit the bill! Its a beautiful color, really unique and perfect as we go into Fall!
The color may best be described as a deep purple! It is a deep inky color. I cured the base coat for about 2 minutes, as I find this works better than the time suggested on the bottle which is in seconds, then applied 2 coats curing each for 2 minutes! It needs the 2 coats as the color is a little faint and washed out with just one application! Then followed with a generous coat of the Shellac top coat!
The result: pretty and shiny nails, I have been wearing this color for 10 days and still no peeling or chipping! It looks as shiny as the first day I applied it and the color is still vibrant! It is really a cool modern color and will look great for Fall / Winter and a great party idea for Halloween! It is pretty dark so worth noting!
To remove I find the easiest thing is to get a small bowl, fill with some acetone and soak for about 6-10 minutes, it simply melts off with no problem!

Gorgeous color! Mar 25, 2012
By FashionFrugalista I am very hard on my hand so I never wore dark polish ( my favorite) unless it was a special occasion. I decided to buy a lamp and accessories to do my nail at home. It is very easy and the CND YouTube instructional video is great! This color is very cool! It has a little sparkle in the light but is matte to the eye. I add a coat of CND sparkle to sassy it up! What's nice about this is it does last and when I apply cuticle oil and they shine like I just polished them! I have short nails so the procuct lasts longer for me. The delivery was fast, I purchased on Saturday with 5-7 day arrival and received it on Wednesday. I haven't gone 14 days with one polish yet. I don't like when I see the outgrowth at my nail bed. It's easy for me to change polish because I do it myself and don't have to pay 30+ or make a nail appointment. A tip for ladies who do their own nails to remove polish; cut up 10 strips of tin foil and an acetone soaked cotton ball and wrap each nail for 2 minutes. They polish just flakes off. I have the CND removal strips but I can't apply them myself because you have to wrap the nail and seal the strip. This is hard when your nails are wrapped! This is a great buy and a great product. Your friends will definitely be asking for you to do their nails!!

Little more red than purple Mar 05, 2012
By Tell it like it is It is a very pretty color, but do not be confused with the color on the bottle, because they are different. It almost is the color of a prune. I have many colors of the Shellac polish, so I almost expect with every one of them they will not be the same as the bottle.
