Good product!! May 06, 2011
By Corinthia S Emery I bought this along with negligee, top coat and base coat and my nails were gorgeous after just one coat of all. I did a double coat of cream puff and the negligee and found it was better to just do one coat of all. I applied it in the following order: 1.base coat 2.cream puff 3.negligee 4.top coat. I cured it in between each coat and only used alcohol after the base coat and after the top coat. I also did a friends nails and it looked very professional and shiny. I also did my toes about a month ago and had no chipping yet. I had to send the dryer back because I had a problem with it so I'm waiting to redo my toes and they're holding out really good. My hands only lasted a week but that's because I was cleaning and it chipped. But it's better than paying 50 dollars every two weeks!! Removal was easy and my nails were not damaged at all.

WORKS Mar 21, 2011
By sarajane I have given myself two french manicures. The white doesn't chip, crack or peel. It holds up well for two weeks

french manicure May 23, 2011
By Cindy S. Skovsted The shellac products in general are not for impatient people, they get "gloppy" fast. I have been doing my own french manicures beautifully for many years and found that by the time I put the cream puff shellac on the tips, even though it would look perfect, as soon as I cured it in my machine it would bubble up and look poorly. I am able to do regular shellac nails with some success (not as nice as when I get them done in the shop but they still last 2 weeks so I'm happy), but I would love to get my money back for the cream puff cause french tips are not working! I know how to do nails, but am not real great with Amazon.com, so don't know how to get $ back for a product without it costing me :( Good luck all

Successfully thinned out Cream Puff Aug 09, 2011
By Kristen in STL Hey All,
**Disclosure**
I use Cream Puff as a base for other colors like Negligee and Romantique, not as a french manicure.
Like many others, I've been struggling with applying Cream Puff in a thin enough coat (coats) to prevent wrinkling. Went through 3 bottles of this super white stuff, in an effort to keep it thin enough to apply.
I've found a solution that works for me. Take one bottle of Cream Puff, another bottle of Clearly Pink.
Dump part of the Cream Puff out on a paper funnel, and replace it in the bottle with Clearly Pink. If you use a paper funnel, or waxed paper, you can minimize waste. Put the remaining Cream Puff, on the paper, into the Clearly Pink bottle.
For me, I still have a very opaque white, much easier to apply, and doesn't wrinkle under the light.

Awesome Jun 29, 2011
By Rose I finally found the Cream Puff (white) for the french tip mani and was so happy that it was sent with lightning speed and triple wrapping. My first outcome was okay, which had nothing to do with the Shellac but more so with me having problems painting the white tips with my left hand. This is a great product and the shipper did an awesome job keeping the bottle from breaking. I just wish that the colors were easier identifiable. To keep the shellac from bubbling up, the coats have to be applied rather thin - found that out by trial and error - and the base and top coat are a must. For my french manicure, I put two thin coats of Negligee over the base coat, and then one quite thin coat of Cream Puff so that the white does not bubble up and will not show such a prominent "dimple" where it starts on the nail; then I end with the top coat. I am really glad that I don't have to go to the salon every time I want to change the color of my nails.
