I went online looking for this specific flat iron for hair because it is the one my hair stylist uses & recommends. Her reasons are that it works beautifully & the price is great for the quality you get.
Mine had an extra bonus in that, at the time I purchased, it was part of a benefit for the Heart Association; a certain percentage of the purchase price was being donated. And as a finishing touch there was no shipping charge because of the promotion.
My advice to all new users (like myself) is to ask your hair stylist to show you the proper way to use it for your particular hair style & to be sure you have the hair mist that prevents harm to your hair from the heat. My first mistake was that I read the instruction book (sparse though it is) and didn't have the temperature high enough. But my stylist gave me "personal training" & now I'm having a blast playing with all the colors she put in my hair.
