FANTABULOUS CONDITIONER!! Aug 28, 2010
By A D Davis
"Miss Natural"
I have type 4 a/b hair. I used this product to cowash. After trying this product one time, I have thrown away all other conditioners. This left my hair so soft and my curls were so defined that it frightened me. I have NEVER had a product define my curls like this. My hair was soft as butter. I was ROCKIN curls fresh out the shower with NO MANIPULATION or products...only cowashed with the CURLS COCONUT SUBLIME MOISTURIZING INSTANT CONDITIONER!!!! THIS STUFF IS DA BOMB. I can only state that this product was great with MY hair. Everyone's hair is different. Even another type 4a/b person might not have the same great results. You have to make a decision to try,or not to try a product knowing that you may have different results.

Excellent for multi ethnic hair! Apr 16, 2012
By A_L I am Mexican/African American with very dry hair that is prone to breakage. My hair is unique in that it is multi-textured (3C and 4A). This has made it EXTREMELY difficult for me to find a product that works. Products for "normal" hair tend to leave my hair dry, frizzy, and brittle while products for African American hair leave my hair with a greasy, dull buildup that forces me to have to shampoo way more than I should. I have tried Paul Mitchell, Mixed Chicks, Moroccan Oil, Carol's Daughter, Deva Curl, Ouidad, and Shea Moisture, just to name a few. All were a huge waste of money. Let me say that Curls Coconut Sublime Conditioner blows them all out of the water. Though it is a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for. The ingredients are of excellent quality. No mineral oils or damaging fillers. It provides DEEP moisture without weighing my hair down. Of course, it smells absolutely amazing. Just using it as a daily conditioner, this product has literally transformed my hair. Having multi-textured hair, I never had soft, defined curls. Curls Coconut Sublime Conditioner changed that. After just once use, my hair was soft and shiny and my curls were defined and bouncy. They were also more uniform in appearance and needed much less leave in conditioner afterwards. I highly recommend this product to anyone with curly hair, but especially to multi-ethnic girls.

Good but not the only option. Jan 03, 2012
By Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01 I have 3B/C hair and have been a curly girl for a couple of years.
I am a mod curly and prefer to use a natural non-sulfate shampoo instead of co-wash. I follow with a rinse out conditioner and a leave in product. When I first began my I used David Babaii for WildAid Hydrating Shampoo, Curls Coconut Sublime Moisturizing Instant Conditioner followed by Curls Curl Souffle Medium Curl Styling Cream, 8-Ounce Jars.
I got great results until they stopped making David Babaii for WildAid Hydrating Shampoo and I had trouble ordering Curls Coconut Sublime from Curls directly. I ran out of Babaii and Curls Coconut Sublime at about the same time and could not reorder either (Babaii was unavailable on Amazon and Curls was out of Coconut Sublime). On the advice of another friend who is also a Curly Girl I went to Walgreens and purchased Shea Moisture Organic Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo and it replaced both products. But that shampoo proved to be a little too much for my hair.
I decided to try another Shea Moisture shampoo Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Control Shampoo - 12 oz.. This was perfect and it replaced both David Babaii and Curls Coconut Sublime. Although I like both products I was able to replace both an expensive shampoo and conditioner with one product that was just as effective.
I was able to comb through and de-tangle my curly hair in the shower and did not notice any difference when I used the Babaii Coconut Sublime combination vs Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Control Shampoo; both worked well. There was no difference in result I just step out of the shower apply either Curls Curl Souffle Medium Curl Styling Cream or Curls Whipped Cream Heavy Curl Styling Cream to my wet hair and then shape and dry my hair.
What I have found is that the two products that are worth the extra money for me are Curl Souffle Medium Curl Styling Cream or the Curls Whipped Cream Heavy Curl Styling Cream, 8-Ounce Jars. Both are nice and although each is targeted at a different hair texture I can't see a difference on my hair. Curls was out of the Souffle so I ordered the Whipped Cream and there was no difference.
I like the Curls Coconut Sublime. However it is expensive and there are other products that work just as well but cost less. As this market expands there will be even more product choices for curly girls.

Great for fine 3b curly hair!! May 18, 2010 This conditioner is awesome if you have fine 3b curly hair like me. It smells awesome (like a combo of cake batter and coconut). It's really good at leaving my hair conditioned, but not too weighed down it. I use in conjunction with DevaCurl Angel and Curls Milkshake.
Great buy Apr 16, 2012
By V. Vasquez Excellent for 3c 4a curls. Great for detangling. I recommend this product. Do not buy the 14 ounce size for 20$ because you will not get your moneys worth. the smaller bottle for 8 ounces is 10$.
