My daughter, who is bi-racial, is going to be in a pageant and I have been struggling to figure out what to do with her hair. After trying several different things, I decided to try this product, even though it seemed a little expensive. The first time I tried it was on a day that we were going to be taking her to the park to take pictures for the pageant. My daughter looked absolutely amazing...the front was up, the back was down and all I did was apply the Gel-les'c to her hair in sections and twist each section around my finger to create long, defined curls. We took pictures for about 30 minutes and then she played (hard!) on the playground for about an hour or so...mind you, it was a windy day!...and her hair looked amazing the entire day. It looked as if I had just done it! Under normal circumstances, her curls would not have held AT ALL, it would've been frizzy within the first half hour! Gel-les'c gave her beautiful, frizz-free curls without making it hard or crunchy! I usually keep my daughter's hair braided, but now, I tend to leave it down a little more often and swear by this product. As a matter of fact, I purchased the rest of the products in this line!

I originally bought this for myself thinking that it was the same as the "adult" version. I am not sure if it is or not but it didn't do the trick for my hair so I began to use it on my children's hair. I is really good for theirs and a little goes a long way. The only thing is, the smell is good at first but after a few days of use, the build up makes their hair smell awful so I end up having to wash their hair much more than I like to. It is a good product for wavy- loose curly hair but would prefer if it were fragrant free.

i just got this product and so far i love it. it smells really good!! i used it on my 3 year old daughter. this product its not like a regular gel because it doesnt have that hold but its just good enough to keep curls in place. this is the perfect product for little kids.
