I ordered this to try...i find mixed chicks works much better. I have two african/irish girls with very curly coarse hair texture. We always use product when their hair is wet and this just isn't thick enough...smells nice, though. I find we try a lot of products for mixed hair and mixed chicks works for us.

Love this product! Tried every product on the market for my kid's curly hair. Other products are really greasy and oily and don't make hair easy to comb. This is the only one that leaves hair feeling natural, soft, and silky smooth. Plus it's organic! However, this product does not provide strong control if that's what you're looking for. It is very lightweight and natural. Great for mixed hair that has some texture.

I love this stuff. I use it on my biracial son (2.5 years) and black daughter (2 months). The smell is amazing (really the only reason I use it on the baby!) and it is moisturizing and reduces frizz. Highly recommend.

My two year old has thick naturally curly hair and I was looking for a product to keep it moisturized between washings. This was not it. The curly q milkshake was thin, had no holding effect and left a film. My daughters hair looked extremely dry after using it and the only reason I gave it a star was because it has a nice smell. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

I love the spray but this didn't work for my daughter. It leaves her hair really greasy & flat. Her hair is very curly but tends to be more like her native american side, not her african american side.
