My hair has been a problem every day of my life. It is thick, curly, coarse--but still has a fine texture--blows up like a beach ball when short and requires much care. I have used so many products and NONE OF THEM WORKED. Until now. Because this is not just products but--buy the book--an entirely new way to deal with curly hair. I follow the steps exactly--even learning a new way to dry my hair with paper towels! The products work very well. My hair looks beautiful and exactly the way it's supposed to--curly. If you want straight hair and are still on that expensive time intensive treadmill of blow dry, etc., this is not the book/products for you. If you want great hair, you need to change and this is the system that works.

My sister's hair dresser told her to use this product on her hair, she did and loved it and told me about it. I was willing to try anything because my hair looked ugly and dry and I was desperate to find something that would make my hair look better. On my first try with devacare I notice a big difference in my hair. I even got compliments on how good my hair looked. The best part about using devacare products is that a little goes a long way, so it is worth the money.

Bought this along with the shampoo, on recommendation of several friends. They raved about it and I just thought it was so so. Never felt like my hair was really clean and the conditioner made it "feel" oily and not silky or conditioned. Good price for the huge 32 oz bottle that I bought with high hopes and will finish it up. I have fine curls and it kept them in shape but I prefer a shampoo and conditioner called Ouidad thats also specifically for curly hair... love the gel and mist that goes along with it.. hoping to find on Amazon so I can purchase more.

I have been using deva curl for a few years and love it. This shampoo doesn't have a lot of lather but it definitely clean my hair.

I've allowed my hair to go back to its natural curl for nearly 3 years now so I love what the Deva products do for my hair. They're a little pricey though. Finally bit the bullet and bought the big bottles. The only thing I wish this product had was a pump dispenser like the Angel gel. Arrived promptly and as promised.
