coarse, wirey hair Feb 03, 2010 I wasn't going to post a review but seeing that someone else has left a one star, I had to saying in it's defense. I only curl my hair during the summer because humid weather does a major frizz job on my hair. This iron curls my hair faster than my chi and hair comes out shiny, smooth and curled and stays that way till I wash it. The iron stays hot, I have burned myself a good many times on it. The cord is long and it swivels so you're not tangled up in it. The temperature dial varies from low (180) to high (200+). It monitors and keeps the desired temperature at all times. I had considered giving my iron to my hair stylist because I know she would enjoy it. But I like so much that it has stayed home even though I don't used it often. I haven't had problems with this iron or maybe I have not used it as much as the previous reviewer to have problems with it, but I like it and it serves it purpose.

Worst, Most Overpriced Curling Iron Ever Sep 18, 2008
By S. Beatty Do not purchase. It breaks after 6 months and the company does not honor its warranty.

Seriously flawed product May 03, 2011
By Pamela E. Colby There are so many little engineering flaws with this curling iron... doesn't hold your hair because it doesn't close due to some alignment issue, button in a weird place so you are always hitting it and shutting it off, weird gap between barrel and base that your hair gets tangled in... etc etc I expected this to be awesome based on previous FHI flat iron but was very disappointed.
Great for African American Weaves Oct 31, 2011
By ShoeDiva I ordered this Curling Iron 1 year ago and it is great, it heats up instantly from 0 to 210 degrees...I have a weave in my hair and it makes a great curl, bouncy and soft. After 4 or 5 months it just stopped working, not sure what the heck happened. I always keep my reciepts at least a year. I contacted the seller and they replaced it no problem. I am actually buying another one for backup. I recommend you look at the return/exchange policy before you purchase from a vendor. I love FHI Curling/Flat Irons :)
