Not as good as I thought it would be. I have to say though, that I've never used a heat glove before, so I have no basis for comparison. I can say this: I used it with my You Curl as there is no clamp on it, and although I can hold my wrapped hair a bit longer, if I could do it again I wouldn't have bothered to buy this. When I do use the iron now, I really don't even bother to use the glove. It doesn't make that great of a difference. Hope this is helpful
