I have purchased four of this lipstix sealer over the last year. When I first used it, it didn't seem to last. My lipstick still came off, as usual, after eating and drinking. But after this last order (of 2) I read the product insert which said that it worked better if applied under the lipstick as well as on top (it always helps if you read the insert even if you think you don't need to). I applied it first and it works great. I found it works best to apply the lipstick on the sealer when the sealer is still wet or just as the sealer dries. It seems to last longer that way. I think the lipstick and the sealer mix when it's wet and they dry together, making it last longer. I feel it is the best product of its kind on the market now. The only drawback is you have to remove the pealed and patched lipstick (from the previous application) if you want to apply lipstix and lipstick again. If you don't, it will tend to peel and not look good. The lipstick will have a mat appearance after applying lipstix. Do not apply lipgloss on top of lipstix as it will not look good. If you don't eat or drink, the lipstick application, with lipstix applied, will last all day and look fresh. Recommended.

This product is just ok. It does sting when you put it on so do not do so if you have chapped lips as I would imagine that it would hurt a lot. It increases the staying power of your lipstick by only a little. Not that much better than nothing. The price is inexpensive, but it cost just as much for shipping so I can't say that I would purchase this product again.

I bought this for my evening wedding and wore it over the perfect shade of red. Priced lower than most of its competitors, Lipstix lipstick sealer really kept my lipstick in place all evening, with no smudging, fading, or transfer - even after kisses and cake!

Wish it was not a roller ball Apr 23, 2012

WHile the product itself is decent, the roller ball design is very poor. it constantly sticks and actaully takes off lipstick vs sealing it. They shoudl have used a brush instead. I would not buy this item again unless they replaced ör vastly improved the functionality of the roller ball.
