My girlfriend used to always complain about her matte nail polish chipping shortly after she applied it, and didn't like the way normal top coat changed the look of her polish. As a surprise I bought this for her and she's thrilled. She has to apply it every other day to maintain the look, otherwise it starts to rub off and lose the effect, but she says her polish lasts way longer with the matte top coat than without. I'm giving it four stars, just cause it stinks and she has to apply it every other day.

Looks amazing, and a way better deal than buying matte colors. Turns all colors to a great matte finish - - usually takes two coats, dries really fast. The matte finish lasts about four or five days, after that you should do another coat as the matte gets shiny after a while. But I am really happy with this product.

This matte topcoat is great! This is my first time buying a matte topcoat, and I am very pleased. It does take about a minute for the full effect to take place, so don't get worried if you don't see anything happening. I do recommend using this on darker colors instead of wasting it on light shades. On light polish, the matte doesn't really change anything, but it has a much larger effect on medium to dark shades. I recommend this product!
